The Mandarin speaking Junior Retention Marketer will work closely with the Market Manager and assist with market analysis, understanding the competitive landscape and developing of market appropriate campaigns and initiatives

As the Mandarin speaking Junior Retention Marketer in Johannesburg, you will need to analyse the customer user experience and customer life stages and adapt existing communications, develop and test new interventions and constantly strive to improve our overall player retention rates in their targeted region. Your primary objective for this job is to maintain, develop and increase retention, activity rates, and revenue through targeted and focused marketing activities in their target market

Your key job responsibilities as the Mandarin speaking Junior Retention Marketer in Johannesburg will include:

- Review and report on the competitive landscape
- Develop and implement strategies for retaining & growing the existing customer base
- Track and report on the success of implemented strategies
- Be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the player experience (and brand where required) within their target region
- Plan, organize and execute promotions and offers that are country / language specific
- Devise and initiate strategies to target customers with regards specific player experiences
which promote activity and retention as an outcome
- Devise and implement promotions and initiatives to generate revenue
- Identify players for intervention or relationship management
- Support other web marketing responsibilities as needed
- Prepare and communicate regular reports to line management

Requirements for this Mandarin speaking Junior Retention Marketer in Johannesburg:

- Marketing Degree or relevant qualification
- Technically minded, and be familiar with web marketing best practices
- Web / eCommerce experience advantageous but not a necessity
- Good project management skills
- Must be numbers driven with strong analytical skills
- Highly computer literate
