Main Functions:
Projects:
• Data capturing of all growth strategy information and keeping it up to date on a daily basis
• Safekeeping and filing of all documents relating to that are send and received with regard to the growth strategy with specific reference to the new sites available and potential Franchisees and also to the marketing & promotions plan
• Preparing all necessary documentation for presentations
• Identify all problem areas relating to the growth strategy in order to improve the process and the operations data bases
• Utilizing all resources available to ensure that we stay on track with the planned growth strategy and marketing & promotions plan.
• Typing and sending of documentation to landlords, developers and potential Franchisees
• Assisting with the opening of new stores and ensuring that all new shops open in time
• Regular contact and feedback with and to the Services Manager with regard to the growth strategy process as planned and to ensure that all problems are addressed timeously
• Coordinating of all marketing and admin related matters.
• Market research to determine what other retail groups do in terms of specials, new releases and book launches and negotiate and plan strategies around findings

Group Marketing and advertising campaigns:
• Doing market research to determine what other retails groups do in terms of advertising on product ranges and plan strategies around findings
• Arranging promotional events
• Assessing the results of a marketing campaign
• Helping to drive online traffic with web-related campaigns
• Communicating with client
• Supports sales presentations by assembling quotations, proposals, videos, slide shows, demonstration and product capability booklets; compiling account and competitor analyses.
• Prepares mailers, brochures and press releases by formatting content and graphics; arranging printing, online content for social pages and internet packages.
• Maintains marketing library by checking and replenishing inventory.
• Provides marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, summarizing data and trends.
• Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Ensure that the webpage and all social media pages are updated on a regular basis and all necessary info added on the webpage
• Coordinating and up to date keeping of the marketing plan & promotions calendar
• Ensuring implementation and driving of all marketing and promotion initiatives

Compiling and implementing group marketing and advertising campaign:
• Promotion planning and store implementation for the year
• Supplier participation
• Brand building
• Ensure store participation by hosting regular workshops or publishing photos on the website
• Negotiate items to be advertised on website
• Publish top best seller products on website
• Formulating monthly news letter

Administration:
• Controlling of the banners & Mascot suites
• Controlling & booking out of the stock take scanners
• Ensure that the webpage and social media pages are updated on a regular basis and all necessary info added on the webpage
• Preparation and follow up of all documentation for yearly Managers Conference, trade show and conferences
• Updating on a regular basis all documents as required, more specifically referring to the Merchandise Manual, Disclosure Document, Prospectus, etc
• Organizing of Sponsorships/ Donations / Goodwill (flowers)

Proper Store Specific Marketing Plans:
• Compile of store specific marketing plans
• Promotion developing and carry through

Company stores and affiliated companies:
• Assist with all aspects relating to Company stores and affiliated companies

Requirements:
• Matric Certificate
• Diploma or Certificate in Marketing Management or equivalent continuous experience for more than 3 years
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience of:
o Marketing Plan preparation and implementation
o New store openings – all operational facilitating
• Sound knowledge of preparation of the following:
o Income Statements and projections
o Store Budget
• Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
• Own Reliable Transport

Software Knowledge:
• Excel
• Formulas
• Microsoft Outlook and Word

Profile:
• Sound retail and financial knowledge
