Marketing Coordinator - Johannesburg

Assists in the planning, execution and analysis of how our Private Label brands are received and
perceived in the market. Tangible elements include the product (packaging and design), communication elements (collateral), and publishing/broadcasting (face to face, print and digital formats). Intangible elements are the experiences the operator has had with the brand
The role oversees all aspects of the operators brand association as well as relationships with members in the supply chain. The incumbent makes sure that they are fully aware of all the systems and process followed in the marketing department.
Coordinates and administrates the process for new labelling and packaging as well as label and packaging updates – includes briefing, proofing, requesting samples, sign-off, etc.
Works closely with design team, NPD, suppliers and printers on product packaging
Responsible to ensure that packaging meets each brand's CI, and is consistent with existing
packaging and the companies brand strategy.

Relevant Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Communications
Knowledge of food (nutrition, preparation, etc.) is a requirement
Knowledge of design and printing processes
At least five years proven work experience in a communication, brand and or marketing environment
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising relevant
marketing campaigns that engage, perform and motivate
Experience in the food industry in a similar or related role
