Our client is a leading software development company and they are looking for Marketing Generalist
This role will be responsible for creating and executing the marketing strategy and includes leading marketing campaigns, evaluating marketing performance metrics and collaborating with internal teams. An in-depth understanding of the different marketing verticals is required - with a focus on digital marketing, content generation, PR, internal and external communication. The ideal candidate needs to have ICT media contacts. An innate curiosity and experience using the latest platforms and technology is an advantage.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

•Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
•Strong marketing background
•Highly creative out of the box thinker
•Excellent communication skills
•ICT, financial or consulting sector experience
•B2B technology experience preferred
•Excellent writing and communication skills
•Experience in marketing analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics
•Project management and problem-solving skills
•Knowledge of current digital marketing practices and brand profiling required
•Self-confident, self-directed, forward thinking, detailed-oriented
•Proactive team player
•Ability to mentor younger team members
•Proven budget management

Qualifications

•6 - 10 years’ marketing experience
•Relevant degree in marketing or communications
•Master’s degree preferred

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

•Define the marketing and communication strategy, aligned to business objects, and execute the plan
•Devise content strategy comprising knowledge management, digital marketing campaigns, social media, website content
•Co-ordinate all marketing activities to ensure timeous delivery
•Manage daily operations of marketing team to ensure satisfactory service delivery
•Review and interpret monthly digital marketing analytics
•Track performance of all marketing campaigns
•Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop relevant content to profile the brand
•Copywriting and editing: internal and external campaigns
•Work with agency partners on campaigns
•Monitor market trends and research ICT markets and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and key issues
•As brand custodian ensure brand is professionally portrayed in all marketing collateral
