Marketing Manager – FMCG – Household products

To perform and assist with all functions of the group with regards to advertising and marketing. Managing all the marketing strategy for the company. Based on the East Rand. Drive product awareness and implement and drive new marketing initiatives.

Strategy
Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives
Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities
Compiling and planning brand strategy with directors and sales teams

Finance and Reporting
o Drafting, reporting and allocating the company’s marketing budget
o Budgeting and financial control of all aspects of Marketing
o Monthly reporting
o Keeping record of all marketing spend for budgeting purposes
o Key Performance indicator Systems monitoring
o Customer complaint monitoring
o Customer satisfaction surveys

Advertising and Public Relations
o Preparing online and traditional print marketing campaigns
o Advertising Campaigns
o Direct adverting in trade and other publications
o Press releases and public relations
o Co-ordination of Public Relations activities
o Publication subscriptions Management

Communications
o Maintain effective internal communications to ensure:
o That all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
o Championing the brand internally making sure all elements of the company understand the brand and its goals

o Corporate profiles
o Company presentations
o Website and online advertising conceptualisation

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
o Minimum BCom Marketing Degree or equivalent qualification
o Minimum of 5 years work experience within marketing of which at least 3 years have been in a managerial position
o Valid driver’s license and own transport
