? Relationship, Responsibilities and Duties:
I. Work in close relation with other sales staff especially Data Capturers and Co-ordinators and report daily activities to Regional Administrator.
II. Responsible for marketing the branded products & services efficiently, telephonic, group meetings, website, social media, other media, pamphlets and at trade shows.
III. Administer the Marketing & Sales division and monitor the correctness of data capturing both manually and computerised especially DTI Co-operative registration documents and processes.
IV. Keep an up to date record of clients, co-operatives and future prospects using Majestic Data base system effectively and efficiently. And keep an up to date manual filling system.
V. Manage Face-book /Tweeter responses per Majestic system and reconcile with sales monthly.
VI. Liaise with relevant private and public stakeholders according to website Community Section.
VII. Manage the provision of staff, co-operatives and customer training in conjunction with HR department.
VIII. Implement and achieve provincial sales and co-operative targets.
IX. Manage and update the Regional Administrator’s diary
? Sales Management: The Marketing Secretary expected achieve set Sales objectives.
? Training: The Marketing Secretary is to ensure all Co-ordinators and Data Capturers:
I. Are familiar with pertinent product information, performance standard and customer benefits relating to co-operative membership.
II. Keep him / herself updated with company’s products and services.
III. Keeps an up to date written plan indicating short-term efforts to improve his or her qualification for senior position.
IV. Is able to conduct a group or introductory workshop presentation.
? Working Conditions:
I. Mostly in the office, however will be required to travel in the field, to trade centres and opportunity meetings.
II. Assist both the Project and HR department to obtain relevant information regarding co-operative needs assessment and project planning and development.
III. Assist in other departmental jobs where need arise or shortage of staff as a result of current staff budget.

IV. Should be intelligent enough to create advertising & products /services branding strategies.
V. Should focus attention on product and people (clients) outside of the company structure.
VI. Able to communicate in at least three of the eleven South African official languages
VII. Have a valid minimum code 8 driver’s licence.
Remuneration;
The marketing secretary will receive a basic monthly salary and earns commissions on jobs done by her subordinates i.e. Co-ordinators and Data capturers.
