Description
Writing and editing content for existing and potential clients across various media, including our quarterly magazine, website, brochures, presentations and for public relations purposes.
Main responsibilities
Draft original content for articles, our website, brochures, presentations
Edit content produced by other people in the business, including articles and presentations
Come up with new content ideas and finding innovative ways to reuse existing content
Maintain and manage existing content, e.g. brochures, presentations, web content, forms
Assist in ensuring that appropriate and correct information is effectively communicated
Assist with media queries
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification e.g. BA (Marketing, Journalism, PR), B.Com (Marketing, Economics, Finance), B.Bus.Sc (Marketing, Economics, Finance)
Financial media or financial services experience is an advantage
Skills/Competencies and experience
Excellent writing skills and a passion for writing – must have writing experience and want a writing career
Excellent attention to detail – editing experience an advantage
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
Good organisational and time management skills
Creative thinker and good listener: ability to come up with ideas
Ability to research, collate and present information in a meaningful manner
Ability to operate independently as well as within a team
Proactive approach and thought leadership ability
Interest in investing as a subject matter essential
Trainee Developer (Institutional IT Operations)

Description
Support and maintain the Institutional applications within the company.
Working in the IT Operations team for a minimum period of time with the opportunity for growth into other areas of IT.
Main responsibilities
Application support to business users
Analyse and co-ordinate the resolution of issues in the institutional asset management applications
Automation of anything that is repetitive to save time / effort
Environment maintenance and support to development teams
Troubleshooting of application problems and performance bottlenecks
Fix bugs where appropriate (applications include the following technologies C#, MSSQL, Crystal)
Database maintenance
Software deployment using automated software tools and the release management process
Enhancement of the deployment tools (built in C# and SQL)
Monitoring of Institutional batch job processes
Regular updating of documentation
Successful trainees will be phased into a full time C# development role
Qualifications
Degree in commerce, sciences or engineering faculty with exceptional results
