Mechanical Engineer in Automotive Industry

Responsibilities :

• Assess current state of Hot Form Line and Supports the successful implementation of new projects, engineering and process changes.
• Define, manage an droll out improvement plan and create perforemance descriptions for equipment
• Co-ordinate and introduce continuous improvements
• Introduce 5S 
• Review and manage scrap as well as analyzing process data by coordinating efforts of production and quality for effective problem solving and process optimization.
• Review and manage line output and drive improved output.
• Improve FTTQ
• Work with maintenanace to introduce TPM, critical spares etc.
• Provides floor support to troubleshoot process problems using continuous improvement and root cause analyses techniques
• Develops, revises and documents manufacturing processes to meet cost, quality, labour and safety goals

Qualifications/ Experiences :

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma wirth experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing processses, procedures and machinery acquired through 3-5 yhears experience in large automotive manufacturing enviroment.
• Problem solving skills. Capacity for teamwork, initiative and a sense of order.
• Computer Literacy
