Our Client boasts a technologically advanced, ISO 14001 and ISO 17025 accredited Laboratory in which production samples are meticulously analysed to ensure delivery of high quality stainless steel to their customers. Our plant is 24 hour operation. The successful candidate will be required to work on a shift basis including weekends.

Education and Qualification

Should preferably hold a National Diploma in Metallurgy.
1-2 years experience in a multifunctional laboratory i.e. testing of metal samples.
Labware and LLIMS system experience will be advantageous.
Must be pro-active; demonstrate high levels of flexibility and attention to detail.
Must be able to work under pressure.
Must be a strong team player and have good communication skills.
Must have planning and organising skills.
Must be able to work without direct supervision, be a self-starter and use own initiative to
trouble shoot and make decisions.
Must be computer literate.
Must have a sound knowledge of Laboratory processes and quality systems.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Knowledge of CNC lathe and CNC milling machine will be advantageous.
