The Role
This role will be responsible for controlling the site activities during execution and inform the Site Coordinator to provide the necessary data for the site management (progress of works, work\test inspection reports, no conformities, alignment with the defined daily schedule, contractor performance and production).

Job Responsibilities
• Ensuring, with support of Safety and Environment Manager, the compliance of safety requirements during works execution, according to local legislation in force;
• Assuring the compliance of works performed with Issued for Construction (IFC) Design and contractual requirements, quality, local laws and site sustainability;
• Monitoring and tracking the progress of works activities, promptly detecting eventual criticalities or delays and proceeding in problem solving by coordinating with Site Manager, in order to reach schedule objectives defined;
• Performing the measurement and classification of work executed and the compilation of the booklets of measurements and accounting (services entry sheet) required for the payment release;
• Implementing Quality Control Plan on site, attending to the test execution when needed, and checking test reports and field data to assure quality requirement are being met;
• Detecting possible non conformities during the works activities, promptly informing the Site Manager and supporting him in Non Conformity Report opening and problem solving;
• Ensuring the implementation of Design Change and Non Conformity resolution during construction and assembly activities.
• Overall coordination of construction documents from internal and external sources with consistency to sizing and development procedures established for each project.
• Process Mechanical Engineering and Design documents including HVAC Equipment shop drawing reviews, and specification reviews, including a working knowledge of Federal Specifications.
• Develop, prepare and control submittals for technical construction specifications, schematic drawings, layouts and blueprints.
• AutoCAD design/drafting as necessary to assist the design team.
• Insure design documents are in accordance with the appropriate client requirements and criteria, and that appropriate documentation is applied to all transactions.
• Review and reconcile Quality Control (QC) documents and field data to insure design standards are being met.
• Observe and report findings of daily site activities from subcontractors; further identifying deficiencies when required.
• Create reports to monitor, activities relating to project schedule through daily and weekly plans, logs and reports.
• Reviews drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommends.

Knowledge, skills & Qualifications
• The Mechanical Supervisor is required to have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in this role or equivalent.
• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline technical diploma;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project);
• Valid Driver’s License;
• Clear Criminal Record;
• Extensive travel with temporary relocation to construction sites both domestic and international for 6–12 month durations;
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments in adverse and extreme weather conditions and in confined spaces.
• Knowledge and experience in mounting and commissioning of WTGs and electrical motors with the relevant codes in force both International and local
• Knowledge of steel structure supply and assembly procedures with the relevant codes in force both International and local
• Knowledge of supply requirements and assembly procedures related of at least all mechanical items listed in chapter 6
