In peer to peer interactions provide medical expertise for study data and strategic understanding to implement successfully Medical Affairs’ programmes with external customers. The performance metrics of Medical Science Liaison personnel are not related to sales.
Medical Degree
Person Specification – the minimum skills, knowledge and experience required for the role
Education:
Medical Degree, Biological Science Degree minimum
Knowledge/Experience:
Sound clinical and scientific experience, significant experience in leading positions within medical departments of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in clinical development/operations and medico marketing
Other skills:

Education:
To identify and evaluate external advocates following approved company processes.
Plan, conduct, and appropriately document scientific exchanges with external experts and other healthcare practitioners which are supported by evidence-based medicine that are in alignment with the scientific platform (if applicable) and relevant to optimize the compound development strategy.
Provide medical education, training and advice to internal teams, maintain contacts with field force and key account managers in order to ensure an optimal and timely response to customer requests.
Manage key medical affairs projects such as Investigator Initiated Studies/IIS, Compassionate Use Programmes, Post Marketing Surveillance Studies, publication projects in line with Company/Regional policies and procedures.
Interact with community groups/organizations and work with key professional bodies to identify/maximize opportunities for Company and its therapeutic area products.
Site selection, staff training, initiation, performing, safety reporting and final data collection.
