International Medical Supply Company with bold leadership that has pioneered innovative medical solutions in the medical sector, has a vacancy open for an Endoscopy and Surgical Sales Representative.
Our client is a leading medical company that supply's medical and surgical equipment to the public and private sector. They currently has a vacancy for a qualified , skilled and knowledgeable Sales Representative ,for their Surgical and Endoscopy division.

The right applicant will be responsible for the following KPI's:
Areas of Responsibility:

Maintenance of existing customers and expanding of sales within the assigned territory;
Scheduling and attending appointments with existing and potential customers;
Planning and conducting in-service training schedules at all hospitals with both nursing- and medical-staff;
Completion of weekly planner and activity report for submission to Direct Manager;
Meeting and striving to exceed sales targets;
Attending relevant theatre cases at Key accounts, existing accounts and potential accounts;
Responsible for networking with and development of relationships with new customers and managing existing customers;
Correct management of consignment stock and accurate, monthly consignment counts;
Preparation and following up on all quotations;
General Administration associated with the position;
Attending workshops and congresses (including after hours and weekends when applicable), as part of the marketing team, attending to customers and promoting Endoscopy & Surgical Products;
Gain product knowledge by attending scheduled training sessions as well as self-study.
Gain knowledge of competitor products and market strategies by attending scheduled training sessions as well as self-study and gathering market information which is reported in the monthly planner & reports;
Market information, product trails, customer KAT info or any other assistance needed to get products registered and marketed as requested by Manager.

Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years previous sales experience;
Medical Experience is a preference and previous experience in a similar position in the Medical industry would be an advantage;
Clinical knowledge of Endoscopy and or General Surgery will an advantage as well as theatre experience;
Knowledge of the target group of customers will be an advantage;
Computer literacy and proficiency on MS Office, specifically Excel (level 2 at least) and MS Word is a requirement for this position.

Qualifications
A Grade 12 certificate is a minimum requirement. Any tertiary qualifications would be a definite advantage.
