• Manage all costs emanating from the department
• Ensure correct billing, stock management and purchasing
• Budgeting process
• Investigate all negative incidents
• Ensure compliance with protocols, policies and acts
• Promote health and wellbeing of patients and staff
• Performance management and disciplinary procedures

Applicants for this position must:

• Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
• Current SANC registration
• Previous unit manager experience in a supervisory / managerial capacity and proven management skills at unit level
• Computer literacy
• Basic labour legislation, financial and chain management principles
• Relevant unit manager and nursing experience
