SCOPE OF WORKThe systems engineer is responsible for software engineering, process engineering, day-to-day maintenance & support of manufacturing and Level 2 software applications, and internal administration.
He/she is responsible to execute the complete SDLC process, which entails:
- Analysis of business requirements and problems (Business- & Manufacturing process analysis),
- Documenting functional & technical specifications,
- Design, development and the implement solutions,
- Maintain & support Level 2 and manufacturing applications, and
- Train users and colleagues on all Level 2 and manufacturing applications.
- Project management, quality assurance, user and technical documentation.
Work related experience Practical hands-on experience in:
- Plant Automation
- Systems Design and Implementation
- Process control
- Programming
- Design, management, development and commissioning of at least one system of significant size are required.
