Our client is currently seeking a Metallurgical Foreman - Angola - Open Cast Mining

• Qualifications: High School Certificate i.e. Matric or GCSE as well as a Tertiary Qualification i.e. Diploma/Degree (ND,HND, BEng, BSc) Mineral Processing
• Experience: 3-5 Years supervisory experience in supervising and operating HMS/DMS (Dense/Heavy Media)Plants, together with experience in Scrubbing, Screening and the Management of Fines (Tailings Storage Facilities ). Alluvial diamond experience would be an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
• Contract : Single Status Annual Contract Renewable annually by mutual agreement to a maximum of 5 years.
• Language Skills: Encumbent should be proficient in English and have a basic understanding of Portuguese as this would be advantagous.
• Other Competencies: Computer Literate i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, conversant with HSE General Principles, be a self starter and self motivated with good communication and organisational skills.
• General Competencies: Previous Expatriate working experience in a remote and isolated environment an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
