Fundamentals: You are a talented, dynamic senior front-end developer taking lead in ground-breaking interactive, responsive, cross-browser, multi-platform technologies.
Leveraging a solid knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, you will work in a collaborative environment to develop highly interactive digital experiences. You are comfortable to lead with experience.
A strong visual eye and understanding of design concepts is necessary, as is a perspective on front- and back-end technologies and their impact on the design process.

Key Responsibilities
You will take direction and liaise with project manager, account managers and creative director and effectively communicate potential issues, provide estimates and help envision creative solutions to technical issues.
You will be team-oriented, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
On many projects you will lead collaboration between design and back-end development teams.
You will be responsible for architecting and developing front-end solutions, mobile application support, mobile optimized sites, and rich media production and integration - integrating with various back-end technologies as well as frameworks and services.

Qualifications | Experience
• A Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or an equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience, is required
• 3+ years professional experience with front end optimization and performance techniques
• Experience with one of the popular JS frameworks (Backbone, AngularJS)
• 5+ years of experience with HTML5 and CSS3


Skills
• Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (Backbone, AngularJS)
• HTML5 & CSS3 as well as responsive design expert
• Experience with a CSS Pre-processor {LESS, sass, etc.}
• Well versed in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies
• Solid experience in fluid layout and positioning, browser behaviour and compatibility, and cross-browser issues and solutions
• Exceptional UI, UX and highly dynamic web interface development skills
• Mobile / Tablet Optimization

• Experience in a fast-paced, can-do, industry-leading environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-directed team player who thrives in a continually changing environment

Advantageous
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, NodeJS and/or similiar
• ActionScript 3 and knowledge of the Robotlegs framework
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
• Exposure to scrum (or another Agile methodology)
• Source control knowledge (Git)
• Experience with Canvas/WebGL
