A unique opportunity exists for a qualified and experienced Mine Planner with knowledge in ore reserve estimation at a global mining company based in the Northern Cape.

Minimum Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering
• Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
• Minimum of 5 years open pit and underground mine planning experience, preferably in precious metals
• Ability to execute project work, evaluate options and strong report writing skills.
• Exposure in the development of Life of Mine strategies utilizing open pit 3D mine design and scheduling software packages
• Thorough knowledge of mine planning software (Datamine or Vulcan), pit optimization software (NPV Scheduler) and XPAC or equivalent mine scheduling software
