The incumbent must have a B.Sc. Mining Engineering, a Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency and 8 years relevant experience, with atleast 2 years on a supervisory level in a block cave mining and underground mining environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling a short term and long term planning, budget for operations, overseeing the engineering designs and risk and carries out responsibilities in terms of HSEC requirements.
