My client, a leading Mining Consultancy based in Roodepoort is looking for Senior level Mining Engineers. Although the Head Office is based in Roodepoort the position will be a moving one as this person will be based at my clients contract Mines in various parts of the country.

The ideal candidate will need to be good with mining software preferably Deswik or else extensive expertise with XPac/Vulcan for the coal guys or extensive Mine24D experience for the narrow tabular guys (Gold & Platinum). They are looking for candidates with Coal experience, plus candidates with Narrow tabular (Gold and Platinum experience). Preferably Engineers that are registered professionals.
Engineers with massive orebody experience as well as open pit experience would be considered.

Due to the lack of suitable people in the market they might consider good mine planners with the above skills but would prefer Engineers.
