A well known large motor vehicle dealership, based in Pretoria is currently looking for a skilled vehicle mechanic/technician to employ as soon as possible.
Area: Pretoria
Salary – R13 000 per month plus overtime and incentives, with benefits (Medical Aid, Gap Cover & Provident Fund).

Job Summary
As a Technician/Mechanic, you'll be at the forefront of the automotive industry, working on some of the most innovative products available on the market and using the latest in diagnostic technology in a state of the art environment.

Requirements:
Matric
Vehicle Technician/Mechanic diploma
Drivers License
At least 5 years experience working as a technician/mechanic in a motor dealership

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Successful Technicians are passionate about the brand and enjoy the challenge of working on cutting edge vehicles.
Perform work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with factory and company standards
Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs
Examine vehicle to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included on the repair order, and communicate to Service Advisor
Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts
Notify Group Leader and/or Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined on repair order is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed by the time promised
Clearly and accurately document all work performed
Road test vehicles as required, or refer to the inspection technician as appropriate
Attend and successfully complete factory training as required by the company
Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
Follow warranty material disposition procedures
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
