JOB OBJECTIVE
• Develop and implement a sales and business development strategy that compliments marketing and company strategy and drives sustainable profitable sales growth in line with the company’s business goals and strategy

TASK DESCRIPTION
• Assist in developing a corporate 36-month Sales Strategy that sets out agreed framework for: Competitive landscape Historic performance and trends
• SWOT New Business Development areas to be identified, scoped, analyzed and goals set
• Growth opportunities: products, geographic markets, age and cultural market segmentation
• Matrix analysis and forecast with leadership development
• Customer Service Management plan input with CSI index goals Input into distribution, system, marketing, customer care strategic support framework
• Compensation plan: current and future
• Incentives and recognition
• Ascend Your Business goals, objectives and targets Input into marketing and NPD strategy
• Input into social media strategy to promote sales and roll-out at field level
• Forecast and GP margins
• Develop 12-month Sales Strategy and Plan for responsible area in line with Company KPI's: Sales objectives, targets, KPI's and matrix goals for responsible area
• Sales Plan for responsible area for immediate 12-month period Scenario analysis by area and per leader with sales plan per leader
• Special events, training promotional activity calendar
• Budget planning
• Distribution outlet integration and performance framework input
• Input and collaboration with marketing calendar
• CSI index measurement with corrective action
• Input into NPD roll-out Social media planning together with Marketing Forecast and GP
• Implement 12-rolling month Sales Plan for responsible area in line with Company KPI's: Sales Activity Calendar - national and per area
• Training Calendar Overseas
• Ascend Your Business Programme management and implementation
• Sales Conference planning and implementation
• Quarterly workshop/ roadshow planning and implementation
• Monthly performance analysis, review and correction action Weekly, monthly contact with leaders with min communication requirements Segmented leadership support plan implementation
• Customer care facilitation and CSI goals to be met Feedback from field and competitive tracking feedback
• Active participation in social media plan implementation Identify third party sales opportunities and partnerships and implement
• Co-ordinate Training calendar with outsourced parties and ensure training material is aligned with sales and marketing plan
• Marketing integration and driving marketing calendar implementation at field level
• Effective and efficient operational support to ensure successful sales plan implementation: Effective and efficient budget management with cost savings initiatives
• Collaboration and partnership with Customer Care, Marketing, Distribution Continuous improvement of processes and procedures to ensure exceptional
• Customer Experience Support and collaborate with colleagues regularly
• Assist as and when required
• Constructively challenge status quo
• Staff HR management and development
• Own AHD communication to the field Staff management role : Order Entry Clerk and Customer Care Clerk for the region
