The company, a leading supplier of formwork and scaffolding for major civil construction projects, requires a National Supply Chain Manager to develop and efficiently manage the stock levels and stock availability throughout the company.

Roles and Responsibilities
• To develop, implement and manage the forecasting and demand planning strategy and requirements of all new and used inventory in the company.
• Identify demand drivers and set up information gathering mechanisms.
• Analyse data
• Set up demand predicting tools and models.
• To lead daily and monthly forecast and inventory planning meetings.
• Set up and maintain procedures for maintaining quality of used equipment stock.
• Participate in sales meetings.
• Provide stock forecasts.
• Liaise with branches regarding stock requirements.
• Co-ordinate the efficient sourcing of new stock, consumables, and reusable stock.
• Stock management and control.
• To train and manage team effectively

Skill Set
• BCom Supply Chain Management/Logistics or OR Qualified Industrial Engineer
• Proven min 2 years’ experience in delivering forecasting, planning and inventory management
• Experience in Demand Planning
• Experience in formwork industry will be an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff
• Team leader and team builder
• Full MS Office; Extensive spreadsheet analysis in Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• Ability to handle pressure
