Seeking a strong and senior Registered Nurse with great leadership skills to manage this warm and homely Aged Care facility in the heart of Durban.

Key Responsibility:

• Responsible for the currency of regular checks of resident files, Drug registers and other relevant records.
• Responsible for supervision of total resident care
• Attend all meetings applicable to healthcare.
• Daily meetings with catering service to discuss resident’s diets, requests and grievances.
• To facilitate the continued communication between the residents and their families, ensuring that the high standard of care is maintained.
• Ensure proper day to day management and organization of the units.
• Ensure the bed occupancy of the Frail Care Unit is optimally maintained at 85%.
• Ensure file audits are carried out.
• Quality improvements carried out and evaluated.

Requirement:

• Be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse
• Nursing and ward administration for at least 10 years, with previous experience in specialized field.
• Excellent Leadership and peoples skills.
• Good managerial skills
• Ability to priorities tasks
• Good administrative skills.
