Do you have nursing management and geriatric experience?
This lovely upmarket retirement home is seeking a Nursing Manager to manage a 46 bedded frail care unit and 9 bedded dementia unit in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:
• Regular checks of resident files, drug registers and other relevant records
• Supervision of total resident care
• Meetings applicable to healthcare
• Daily meetings with catering service to discuss resident’s diets, requests and grievances
• Facilitate communication between the residents and their families, ensuring that the high standard of care is maintained
• Ensure proper day to day management and organization of the units
• Ensure file audits are carried out
• Ensure Quality improvements are carried out and evaluated

Requirements:
• Be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse
• Need to have at least 3 years management experience
• Prior aged care experience will be advantageous
• Previous experience dealing and understanding the handling of geriatric patients
• Excellent Leadership and peoples skills
• Good administrative skills
