Qualified Professional Nurse with minimum 5 years’ relevant management experience, required to manage the total quality of nursing care in this hospital.

Minimum requirements:
• Professional Nursing qualification essential
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial role essential
• SANC registration and proof of indemnity cover are pre-requisites

Responsibilities:
• Manage the total quality of nursing care in the hospital
• Manage administrative policies, procedures and protocols that support nursing services
• Manage SHE, Quality and Risk principles
• Manage HR Practices for the nursing staff
• Monitor staffing levels
• Oversee the review and update of nursing policies and procedures
• Adhere to all nursing statutory requirements
• Daily hospital reports
• Reports to Hospital Management and Executives
• Develop, implement and evaluate nursing strategic plans and sub-unit strategic plans
• Oversee monthly clinical audit meeting with Unit Managers
