Occupational Health Practitioner
Grabouw / Somerset West

Our client in the agricultural industry requires the service of an Occupational Health Practitioner who is passionate and committed to delivering quality patient care and excellent service in a professional manner.

Key performance areas:

? Manage a program to establish the physical, psychological and social well-being of the worker in a safe working environment
? Conduct pre-placement, annual and exit medicals
? Monitoring the health status through ongoing surveillance programmes
? Identifying information that can be utilized to eliminate, control and minimize health risks and hazards to which the employees may be exposed
? Treat and refer IOD’d and keep record in official register
? Safe keeping, control and stock take of clinic equipment
? Clinic staff management
? Family planning and HIV/AIDS management/treatment

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a tertiary qualification in General Nursing, Midwifery and Occupational Health Nursing with sound knowledge in the provision of Occupational and Primary Health Care Services
? Registered with SANC and SASOHN
? Certificate in dispensing
? Good communication and interpersonal skills
? Computer proficiency and general administration functions
? Experience in the treatment of Injuries on Duty and COID administration
? Experience in HIV/AIDS counselling
? Must have a valid driver’s license and own transport as travelling between clinics is required
