The position requires an assertive and self-motivated individual to lead and manage the Occupational Hygiene and Ventilation functions of the Company’s mining operations.

Requirements:

Grade 12
Chamber of Mines Certificate in Mine Environmental Control
Advanced computer literacy in MS Office Suite and proven knowledge thereof
At least 5 years’ experience in a mine ventilation environment at Managerial level

Other skills:

Organisational and Industry specific knowledge would be advantageous.
Proven working knowledge and application of HSE legislation.
High level of attention to detail with excellent time management, planning, coordinating and prioritizing skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Good verbal and written communication skills (official business language is English)
High level of multi-skilling, flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Results driven with high customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills.
Assertiveness, conflict handling and problem-solving skills.
