Office Automation Account Manager required in Rivonia!

CM Value Added Services is looking for a vibrant, driven and experienced Office Automation Account Manager. We are a national Network Operator who physically constructs and maintains its own infrastructure in South Africa and abroad. We are looking for a well-groomed, presentable individual with previous experience as an Account Manager in the Office Automation industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for new business to successfully generate and develop new accounts (thinking not out the box but throwing the box away)
• Drive sales of the company’s products by promoting the entire range of products and services.
• Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with clients through effective communication, continually striving to provide the best solutions to suit the individual needs of the client’s. (if you are a people’s person, passionate about customer service this will be a piece of cake)
• Have and demonstrate the requisite technical selling skills, product knowledge and understanding of pricing required to provide the best service to the client.
• Provide the client with up-to-date technical information and advice. (all about people skills which you have??)
• Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities – mild OCD is a good thing…
• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of all telecommunications and solutions products and technologies through training and regular review of technical documents.
• Adhere to all company’s policies, procedures and business ethics codes because you are a superstar.
• Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client’s needs.
• Ensure consistent service levels are met /exceeded.
• Effectively negotiate and close deals.

Requirements:
We need you to be someone who has excellent communication skills and enjoys working with people - we are nice people and are looking for similarly nice people to work with. We believe that you can, and should, enjoy your day at work and time with your colleagues. Previous experience as an Account Manager within the Office Automation field is a must… a good sense of humour is a must to : )
An understanding of customer and market dynamics – we don’t expect you to be a psychic, well maybe sometimes ; ). Fully computer literate and solid IT knowledge is essential as is a ‘can do’ attitude and good organisation and time management skills.

P.S if you come from a Kyocera background that would be a big plus.
