We are seeking an Oncology Trained Registered Nurse with an abundant amount of Oncology experience to be part of Oncology practice in the Northern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Candidates Must be able to run a Chemotherapy room
• Must be able to Mix all Chemo therapy drugs
• To be competent in the care of all patients undergoing Chemotherapy and able to deal with complications independently and start resuscitation and/ or recognise the signs and symptoms of deteriorating patients and patients who are having an anaphylaxis.
• The practice consults and treats approximately 14 patients per day
• This is a Busy practice, candidate must be able to work under pressure

Applicants for this position must:

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
• Post basis Diploma in Oncology – One year
• Must have at least 3 years’ experience in Oncology
• BLS
• Advanced Life support would be advantageous although Training will be given
