Our client, an esteemed Agricultural company based in the Witzenberg Municipality District in the Western Cape, is looking for an energetic and knowledgeable person with relevant technological and management experience in the Agricultural industry. Reporting into the Director of Vegetable Packaging, this role is open to candidates with sufficient experience in this type of role, or candidates ready to grow into this.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

Responsible overall for a highly technological grading and packaging line with specific reference to:
• Optical (internal & external) onion grading
• Onion packaging for various channels
• Managing a staff of approximately 100 people including Supervisors and packaging staff
• Maintaining equipment as well as HACCP / BRC requirements in this section

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant industry-specific experience
• Quality Management experience
• Strong knowledge of HACC{/BRC requirements
• Analytical
• Excellent technical knowledge
• Excellent management skills
• Excellent communication skills with a confident personality
• Ability to work in a team
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (not negotiable)
• Own vehicle preferred
• Preferably already living within the area

CTC package on offer:

R 400 000 – R 500 000 p/a (depending on experience)
