MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

The minimum education requirement for the job is a Grade 12 certificate with Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing
3 Years experience in the Fleet or Insurance Industry.
Accredited selling skills training
2-3 years supervisory/team leader management

Principal Accountabilities

Increase Sales
Grow sales volumes to meet the budget by product in the allocated region.
Lead the team positively in the region to focus on sales growth by product in the region and ensure that service offering and solution selling is key.
Manage and grow local customer database and focus on solid relationship building
Identify new business to canvas in the region and feedback to JV Partner / Fitment Centre Manager
Feedback to JV Partner / Fitment Centre Manager on National Deal customers as well as any potential National Deals
Feedback to the Regional Manager if the responsible Fitment Centre does not have a local deal file on the counter with procedures and pricing per deal concluded.
Maximise visibility in the market through effective time management and complying to 8-12 calls per day.
Attend weekly meetings with the regional manager to ensure that all sales opportunities are attended to e.g. A-Z customers, brokers in the area, local opportunities, local depots and commercial branches (Virgin Active, Edgars etc)
Local selling price list required must be obtained and signed by the regional manager as well as local SLA’s.
Ensure that the team makes the necessary calls to ensure sales growth by product and that the team uses the Sales Management System currently in use with national sales. Assist Fitment Centres in region with queries and overdue accounts relating to customers in the allocated region when required.
Identify joint marketing opportunities with customers
Ensure local deals are communicated to, and implemented by the Fitment Centre responsible.
Manage upselling of products in all Fitment Centres in the region, and bring it to the Regional Managers attention if this is not happening.

Administration
Ensure local customers are equipped with marketing material.
Educate customers and staff on our product range through presentations/demonstrations
Ensure sales related statistics, reporting and analysis are accurate and complete
Obtain incomplete listing on a weekly basis for the meeting with the regional manager to action for sale closure.
Know what the repair ratio is for the region as well as penalty customers and drive this with the regional manager.
Submit regional reports that management may require, i.e. monthly market intelligence from the region, monthly report on new deals and pipeline activity of the team.
Work with the Regional Manager with regard to local marketing and CRM plan for the region.
