What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

Stores

* Ensure Stores are Neat
* Manage Raw Material Stock Levels in Collaboration with Production Manager
* Ensure controls and prevent losses

Inventory

* Ensure pre-built inventory required for customer orders available when needed
* Ensure no losses of inventory

Warehouse

* Ensure warehouse laid out according to industry best practices
* Ensure tracking of all items (Electronically)
* Ensure raw materials and inventory are not damaged

Fleet

* Ensure customer deliveries are on time
* Manage fleet to ensure vehicles and drivers trackable at all times
* Prevent losses and wastage
* Maintenance

Operations

* Optimise the operation
* Implement and optimise electronic supply chain systems
* Metrics Driven Management

* Ensure On Time Delivery of Products to Customers
* Ensure Warehouse and Stores Optimised with no Losses

Background work experience:

* 10+ years Supply Chain, Logistics and Warehousing
* 5+ years in Senior Management
* 5+ years in Manufacturing
* NDip Logistics or Industrial Engineering (Or Equivalent)
* Supply Chain, Logistics and Warehousing
* Inventory and Stores Management
* Technology Based Supply Chain Optimisation
* Adv: Experience Batch Manufacturing Processes
