Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position comprises the strategic leadership and hands-on management of a diverse range of operational activities at our facility based in Clayville, Gauteng. The ideal applicant must possess: a recognized degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering ; 5 – 10 years’ proven track record in a similar position; excellent administrative project management skills .

A tertiary education in business management and/or financial management will be an added advantage. It is also expected that applicants should have a relevant experience in a general management capacity, preferably in a service / healthcare environment. Ideally the successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to manage our operations in the region, comprising Distribution, Warehousing, Sales and Administration as well as being responsible for the day to day running of one or more of these functions. The incumbent will also participate in the development of strategies and the implementation thereof.

A strong personality and the ability to cope under pressure, to think on your feet and strong leadership skills are essential. A proven track record of consistent profit achievement, a proactive, approach, strong customer relations with the ability to liaise with all levels of management and be conversant in Afrikaans and English as well as administrative skills, and participative people management skills are a given.

You will be required to be hands-on in managing the overall running of the operation to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards, financial and operational standards and the achievement and maintenance of operational efficiencies as well as meeting the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
