Optical manufacturing organisation is seeking an individual work can work in a fast paced, pressurised environment with high focus and great attention to detail

Primary function: Sort and capture incoming optical/frame orders on internal ordering system

Educational requirements:
Grade 12

Working experience requirements:
2-3 years previous capturing experience essential
Candidates with previous optical laboratory experience will be given preference
Optical knowledge recommended
Experience with optical frames recommended

Computer literacy:
Strong MS office skills

Duties and responsibilities:
Arrange orders by time and date priority
Assessing orders for potential errors/problems
Capture phone, email and fax orders
Tracing of optical frames on internal system
Correctly start lens manufacturing process by inputting accurate prescription information
Query orders with customer service that are incomplete or expected to create problems with frame and lens compatibility
Correctly wrapping completed order and transferring frames to frame locations
