Design, develop and support Oracle EBS technical solutions
Responsibilities:
- Develop Oracle EBS custom/extended solutions to a high standard as per Business Requirement Specifications within the given dead-lines.
- Produce Technical Design documentation for development work.
- Provide technical input during design sessions as and when required.
- Assist Oracle EBS Functional Analysts with technical input as and when required for project and support work.
- Develop and demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills.
- Provide Oracle EBS Technical support on R12 production.
- Adhere to the Company SDLC and all related processes and procedures.
- Ensure that all development work is carried out in accordance with the Company Design and Build Standards.
- Contribute to improvement of processes and standards within the team.
- Contribute to good teamwork, knowledge sharing and effective communication within the whole EBS team.
- Engage in development and improvement of own skills on-the-job and through training.
Requirements:
- Relevant IT qualification or certification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Oracle EBS Developer including PL/SQL, SQL, BI Publisher, Workflow, EBS System Administrator / Application Developer, Oracle Financials (preferably one / more of: AP, AR, GL, CE, PO, FAH)
- Relevant Oracle Certification will be advantageous.
- Additional advantageous experience: Unix scripting, ETL, Data Modelling, OAF, java, OBIEE
