PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Organisational Compliance and Governance Officer will have skills and
experience sufficient to identify potential issues within a variety of corporate
governance and compliance areas. The Organisational Compliance and
Governance Officer will be able to remain objective and function
independently from other departments. The Organisation Compliance and
Governance Officer will be detail oriented and have experience with
monitoring and reporting procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

BCom / LLB Degree • CIS qualification will be an added advantage

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

3 years relevant experience in the administrative and governance environment.

KEY DELIVERABLES

Assist the Senior Manager: Organisational Compliance & Governance in
the development, adoption and implementation of best-practice policies in
Corporate Governance within the company.

Implementation of the compliance and governance programs; Drafting and revision of company policies;
Evaluate business activities and processes to assess compliance risk;
Consult with the Legal Manager as needed to resolve complex legal compliance issues;
Taking Minutes for the Board, Board Committees and Operations meetings;
Educating and training of employees on regulatory requirements and practices;
Conduct periodic assessment of the Company operations to ensure they are in line with applicable regulatory requirements;
Maintenance of a Compliance Risk Management and Monitoring Plan;
Maintain an effective compliance communication program for the organisation.
Compile monthly and quarterly reports
