Key Responsibilities:

• As a unit manager you will manage all aspects of this 25 bedded ward including:
o General management of Paediatrics Unit
o Policy formulation, implementation and control
o Management of staff
o Organisation and planning of disciplines
o Financial management and budget control
o Maintain clinical competencies and quality patient care
• Most important part of your function as UM is to build the relationship between patient, parent and Doctor!

• Be SANC Registered
• Preferably in possession of an additional Paediatrics post basic qualification (not a pre-requisite)
