One of Cape Town’s leading fine-dining restaurants, situated along the Atlantic Coastline, seeks a formally qualified Pastry Chef to increase their kitchen brigade.This 60-seater restaurant with outside facilities for a further 70-guests and function venues for up to 200-pax, offers a relaxed working environment for candidates, who have a great attitude towards their work and will fit into a young brigade.Our client offers a five-day week with set days closed.All candidates must have completed a chef’s apprenticeship from a recognized culinary academy or even better have completed a formal chef’s training within upmarket hotel or restaurant kitchens.All applications submitted must contain written proof of employment, supporting documents re training and tertiary education completed, a recent photograph of the candidate and preferably 6-8 clear photos of dishes created by themselves, please.Please note: We can only consider candidates, who are South African Citizens or hold a valid South African Permanent Residence! No Work Permit applications can be entertained! Our client would prefer candidates, who are already residing in the Western Cape.
