A Corporate High End Company seeks a Pastry chef for their Corporate dining Restaurant:To respect and follow all instructions given to your seniorsMaintenance of all control systems / programmes in pastry kitchenConducting administrative duties& meeting set deadlines of companyMonitoring of stock rotationMaintaining good guest and team relationsTo do any reasonable duties asked of by the Head Chef / Head Pastry ChefAssist in increasing team productivityPunctuality : time and attendanceEnsure maximum hygiene standards at all times, ensuring that 100% of health and hygiene standards are maintainedQuality & quantity control of all food products of all food and produce entering your kitchenMonitoring staff trends and informing management of any irregularitiesAssist other departments when requiredMaintaining world class standards set by companyTo do daily ordersTo check daily orders that come in, making sure the correct produce has been received and that they get your signature of approvalTo check the cleanliness of kitchen and make sure all chefs are following hygiene standardsTo ensure that the correct food cost are adhered to by watching the suppliers and the prices of products deliveredTo respond to all other requests by senior management willingly and accept them as a challengeTo do any reasonable duties asked of by the Head Chef / Head Pastry ChefAssist in ensuring that weekly menus are complete by Wednesday and given to Head Chef / Head Pastry Chef to checkTo ensure that any menu changes to be submitted to Head Chef / Head Pastry Chef by 7am or preferably the day before.To adhere to the rules of the firmTo ensure that all pastry products that leave the kitchen are up to the high standard we follow, and that you take full responsibility for all products leaving your kitchenServe hot food products hot and cold food products coldEnsure all communication about production / quality / service of food is done in EnglishTo take pride and responsibility in all work doneTo communicate to your team members in an orderly manner.
