Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of 20 staff members including case managers, reception staff & admin staff
• Effective quality management and customer care
• Oversee admissions, case management, archiving, systems controller, bill auditing, credit control and bed booking.
• Reduce & manage the risk associated with RSRT’s
• Conduct stakeholder customer surveys and implement remedial action where necessary
• Drive accurate and timeous billing process to ensure relevant targets are met
• Manage cash flow effectively

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Understanding of private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players, current legislation
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT/ICD coding, technical and clinical concepts and patient services business processes
• Previous similar experience essential
• Case Management experience will be an advantage
• 2 – 3 years relevant private healthcare industry and proven leadership, change and people management experience
• Understanding of basic financial principles (i.e. budgets, credit management, planning)
• Computer proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Driver’s license & own car
