A well-established Company in Bellville is looking for a Pattern Maker who can create, review, maintain and update drawn/manual AND computerised garment patterns.

You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance/updating of all garment patterns - ensuring accuracy and form fitting and to produce the specification sheets in accordance with company layout and procedures. This includes working hand-in-hand with most departments including the Factory Manager, Designers, Cutters etc.

To apply the following minimum criteria MUST be met:
Some experience with patterns used in sport attire (rugby, cricket, hockey, paintball, netball etc.)
Proven working experience creating, reviewing and updating garment patterns on both drawn (manual) format and electronic format.
Must be proficient in either Lectra or Gerber - a qualification/grading/rating in either might be highly beneficial.
Experience in keeping neat and accurate records of cut sheets, different styles and specifications - thus must be highly organised and fully computer literate (including email folder maintenance).
Be effective in prioritising and to give inputs to the task/priority list to ensure meeting of deadlines and to multitask between all the different orders.
Used to working under high level of pressure (non-negotiable) and a willingness and ableness to do so!
Preferably own transport, or a strong work-ethic to be on time and have transport plans during times of extreme late work that may be needed.

The following criteria could also considered IF ALL the above are met:
More junior applicants might be considered with at least an N4 Clothing Production Certificate above 65% average with at least 1 Years's working experience AFTER completed Internship/Apprenticeship/Learnership.
Proven evidence of a multitude of Sports Wear, including all facets of the garments.
In depth knowledge of a garment production factory without any qualifications - however must be fully computer literate and be able to digitize.

Salary is negotiable and is dependable on experience and qualifications.
