An exciting and challenging role is available for an experienced payroll administrator at a leading Financial Services company. The successful incumbent will be a highly meticulous individual who enjoys working in a fast paced and pressurized environment, taking ownership of the administration of company payrolls.



Qualification:

Relevant Financial Tertiary qualification

VIP Payroll Certificate

ESS



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years working experience on Payroll (preferably VIP) and HR systems

Sound Payroll processing and related legislation knowledge and experience essential

PAYE, statutory compliance and understanding of employee benefits essential

Payroll reconciliation processes knowledge and experience essential

Experience in financial services field advantageous

MS Excel, Word and Outlook

Information gathering and problem analysis

Quality and detail orientated



Job Description:

Accurate, timeous and consistent end to end processing of company payroll

Maintenance of payroll system and leave administration system

Processing and administration of all additional reimbursement and pay related allowances

Administration and maintenance of employee benefits in accordance with EB committee decisions, fund rules and company remuneration policy

Liaising with staff and management on payroll and employee benefit related queries

Manage and conduct month-end and year-end statutory requirements

Reconciliation and payment of PAYE, UIF and SDL and 3rd party payments

Reconciliation of payroll related GL accounts

Accurate and timeous delivery of ad hoc, monthly and annual reports
