What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the manufacturing sector. All duties would take place in this context.

* Monthly Payroll
* Timesheets
* Overtime
* Night Shift Allowances
* Tax and SARS

Key Job Deliverables:

* To ensure timely and accurate payroll
* To ensure correct tax and deduction calculations
* To follow complex pay rules in a Union Agreement

Background work experience:

* 2 years Manufacturing Payroll
* 2 years Payroll SW: Absolute Systems, Smart HR and Pastel Payroll
* 2 years Remuneration Calculations based on Sectoral and Union Agreements
* 2 years Tax and Deduction Calculations
* Payroll Certificate
* Manufacturing Payroll
* Running payroll in a complex manufacturing environment with multiple shifts and complex sectoral pay agreements
* Ability to use the specific payroll programs Absolute Systems, Smart HR and Pastel Payroll
* Setup up and checking payroll calculations from time-sheets as per Sectoral and Union Agreements
* Setting up and calculation of tax, medical aid, pension and other deductions
* Advantageous: Adv: Understanding of Remuneration and Benefits
