Requirement for Performance Test Analyst
Work Location: Johannesburg, South Africa
Mode of employment: contract (12 months and extendable)

Job Spec:

• Performance Test Engineer, with 4-5 years’ experience in Performance Test Scripting, Workload modeling, Result Analysis and Reporting.
• The preferred toolsets would be JMeter and with the understanding of the various Non-Functional Testing disciplines. Some experience would be desirable if the candidate also created custom solutions to test fringe scenarios.
• These capabilities would extend over the Services and API, web platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience developing your own testing tools to facilitate performance testing is a major plus.
• Ability to work as part of a self-directed Agile team
• Debug, troubleshoot, and work with team members to find and fix software defects
• Testing at the System, Sub-System, and Component level
• Create reports that describe detected defects and possible causes
