A Pharmacist is required in Fourways, who has the following:

B.Pharm Degree (completed).
Registered with SAPC.
Experience with Schedule 6 - registers and stock control.

Will be responsible for the following:
All duties & responsibilities of “responsible pharmacist” as required by the council.
Receipt and control of schedule 6 stock.
Maintain schedule 6 register/scripts.
Control of daily temperatures of the warehouse.
Check of expiry date of stock/stock rotation.
Investigate any drug stock discrepancies.
Maintain pre-agreed stock levels.
Review stock levels weekly and monthly.
Formulate orders for suppliers & liaise with buying department.
Maintain batch numbers and expiry dates on stock system.
Maintenance and updating of sop’s.
Oversee any return of scheduled goods.
Oversee quarantine requirements of oncology stock.
Oversee destruction of expired drugs.
Oversee batch recalls.
Regular self-inspections of schedule drug warehouse/pharmacy & oncology.
Cycle/random stock counts.
