- Current registration as a Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council
- Private Hospital and Retail Pharmacy experience will be a recommendation
- Preferably 3 to 4 years' Pharmacist experience
- Proven clinical proficiency as a Pharmacist
- Sound judgement and problem solving skills
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to handle conflict situations
- Concern for excellence e.g. accuracy and adherence to standards and standard operating procedures
- Ability to function independently but also work well within a team
- Informed regarding industry matters and the ability to evaluate the impact of these factors on pharmacy operations and implement changes when required
- Consistent ethical behaviour
- Computer literacy (Pharmassist, MS Office)
- Required to work one weekend per month while on call
- Participation in scheduled stock takes and CPD events
- Value and support diversity in the workplace
- Service commitment
