MSP is recruiting for a Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) seeking to employ an experienced and knowledgeable Pharmacovigilance Manager to manage pharmacovigilance and drug safety on a strategic level with focus on identifying, evaluating and managing safety hazards and risks of all products. The following requirements are a prerequisite to be considered for the position: • Relevant Masters’ or Doctorate degrees in Biotechnology/Sciences/Pharmaceuticals/Medicine with registration to relevant councils ie HPCSA • Minimum of 8 years CRO/Pharmaceutical experience in pharmacovigilance and drug safety • Expert knowledge of FDA, EU, MCC and ICH guidelines and regulations regarding drug safety reporting and PV/DS in clinical trials • Expertise in World Health Organization’s Drug Dictionary (WHODD) with relevance to coding suspect drug and concomitant medications. • Prior clinical research/trials experience within Infectious Diseases • Strong communication, written and verbal, skills and extensive reporting experience • Able to travel nationally Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to ****@*****.***.
