Responsibilities:

• Work closely within a small, agile team to design, implement and test integrated systems.
• Participate in refining and maintaining documentation.
• Interpret written business functionality requirements.
• Software planning and architecture.
• Perform coding to the required software standards.
• Perform testing on software.
• Perform bug fixing.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Liaise with systems engineer.

Requirements and Qualification

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5 – 10 years of programming experience with PHP, especially expert object-oriented experience.
• Proficiency in a LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP) based architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design and programming.
• Familiar with Agile methods.
• Excellent understanding of database modelling.
• Creative problem-solving skills and an ability to apply business logic to development requirements.
• Knowledge of how to use an FTP to connect to a server.
