Requirements

• Completed Grade 12 (NSC)
• N1 – N3 and/or N4 – N6 Certificate (Plumber, Fitter & Turner, Boilermaker or Welder)
• 3 – 5 years’ experience working with site installations, manufacturing & assembly
• Proficient at reading technical drawings
• Valid & unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license
• Strong basic technical/ mechanical & engineering abilities & knowledge.
• Need own reliable transport to & from work
• Proven manufacturing skills & troubleshooting abilities.
• English & Afrikaans capabilities.
• Must be detail orientated; reliable, self-disciplined & able to solve problems
• Prepared to travel for purposes (1 – 2 weeks depending on the client needs)
• OHS knowledge & application thereof
• Must have strength, stamina and flexibility.
• Team player to fit in young and dynamic work environment

Duties

• Deal with site installations, manufacturing & assembly
• Fabricate & assemble water treatment components per technical drawings & specifications
• Proficient in PVC, HDPE and steel pipework & plumbing
• Must follow safety procedures and have understanding thereof
• Liaise with clients, colleagues, supervisors & management
• Write technical reports for project
• Understand of technical drawings
• Must perform unsupervised tasks & supervise work units.
• Must follow safety protocols at all times
