One of our clients in the Supplier Development space is looking for a Portfolio Manager. The portfolio manager will be responsible for screening, analyzing and evaluating prospective investments. This position involves extensive financial due diligence, modelling and preparation of investment memorandum and presentations.The portfolio manager will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating performance of existing investments, preparing investor update reports to present to the Investment Committee.

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years’ early stage private equity and/or corporate finance experience
• Preferably B. Com (Hons)/ CA(SA) and /or MBA or any relevant post graduate qualification
• Superior financial modelling, writing and presentation skills
• Excellent research and organizational skills
• Ability to perform at a high level without significant supervision
• Strong knowledge of start-up financing
• Ability to structure deals
• Strong negotiation skills
